Are difficult conversations, or avoiding them, draining your energy and hindering your ministry? This workshop offers a refreshing approach to conflict engagement. Learn how to approach the situation through reframing, communicate effectively, and discover redemptive purposes. Join us to gain some tools to help you build stronger relationships, create a culture of unity, and transform conflict into a catalyst for positive change.
Michelle has spent decades working closely with teams of passionate people nationally and internationally. She has her conflict certifications from the Justice Institute of BC and is a Member of MediateBC’s roster for mediators. Michelle and her family have lived and worked in Canada, US, Mexico, Egypt and Costa Rica in various roles; the last serving as a regional director, overseeing projects and personnel in Latin America (2008-2020). Understanding other languages and cultures has only enhanced her appreciation and understanding of how crucial conflict resolution skills are for a thriving environment. Michelle Derksen BBS, Cert.
