Leadership Matters.
Let me cut right to the chase—the stakes are incredibly high right now. As one leader recently shared with me, “I think my ministry will make it until spring, but I’m not sure I’m going to.”
I am hearing this same heart cry and concern over and over. The storms of this year have made leadership more difficult, more lonely and more tiring. Many leaders are being pushed to the edge of their limits. As a result, I am more concerned about the health and long-term sustainability of Christian leaders than ever before.
In the unique storm we’re in, we need whole and healthy leaders at the helm. We need leaders with “…integrity of heart and skillful hands,” as David is described in Psalm 78:72.
We also need these leaders to be whole and healthy after the storm. A leader’s health, or lack of it, has a powerful ripple effect that impacts their marriage, family, team, organization and ultimately God’s work in the world.
Since the stakes are so high right now, we are doubling down on our mission to develop Jesus-centered leaders.
