Bio of Rev. Darren DeGraaf - Director of Leadership Services

Rev. Darren DeGraaf is the director of leadership services of Arrow Leadership, called to build into the lives of Christian leaders and organizations across North America “to be led more by Jesus, lead more like Jesus, and to lead more to Jesus.” The North American office for Arrow Leadership is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, with another 6 offices located worldwide. Arrow has polished 1400 leaders worldwide through profound and intentional leadership development experiences.

Darren is recognized as a leader of leaders who has an ability to identify, develop and equip leaders for effective ministry within the Christian context. He is passionate about developing “Jesus-led leaders” who are first and foremost focused on leading from a depth of character and spiritual foundation. He has focused much of the past 20 years of his life on building teams, developing leaders, and growing in his own leadership understanding and practice.

Darren is known through his speaking at conferences, published articles, workshop facilitation and as a trainer through the Arrow Leadership Program. He coaches Christian leaders and consults with Christian organizations across North America.

Ordained at Brant Bible Church in Burlington Ontario, Darren has been a pastor, denominational leader, and University and Seminary instructor. Prior to Arrow, Darren was the Director of Leadership Development with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec.

Darren is a graduate of McMaster University with a B.A. in History and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with an M.A. in religion. He is an alumni of the Arrow Leadership Program (2003) and has been trained as an Executive and Life Coach. He is also a certified "Kolbe consultant"

Darren is married to a very gifted woman, Tracey, who serves as a specialist in International relief and development focused on Africa. They have three children, Kelsey who is a teenager, and two young boys, Joshua and Caleb. They live surrounded by mountains, lakes and the ocean in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
