Bio of Dr. Carson Pue - President

Rev. Dr. Carson Pue is the president of Arrow Leadership and is called to develop leaders worldwide “to be led more by Jesus, lead more like Jesus, and to lead more to Jesus.” The international service centre for Arrow Leadership is located in Vancouver, British Columbia and has been highly successful in polishing 1300 christian leaders in 8 countries worldwide.

Carson is recognized as a leader of leaders who has an ability to identify leaders and invest wisdom into their development through mentoring, teaching and spiritual guidance. He is the best selling author of “Mentoring Leaders: Wisdom for Developing Character, Calling and Competency” with Baker Books. Carson is known through his speaking at conferences, published articles and national radio programs and commentaries. Over 50,000 leaders now read his monthly leadership emails “To the Point” "Mentoring Questions" and magazine columns.

Ordained at First Baptist Church in Calgary in 1989, Carson has pastored in four churches including historic First Baptist Vancouver. Before Arrow, Carson was the executive director of Chuck Swindoll’s radio ministry Insight For Living. Carson today serves on the Board of World Vision, the Billy Graham Center Advisory Board and as adjunct faculty for Wheaton College in their MA in Evangelism and Leadership degree.

Carson is a graduate of the University of Calgary B.Ed., M.A. (Religious Studies); Trinity Western University, Doctor of Christian Ministries (Honoris Causa), the Arrow Leadership Program; and the marketplace school of hard knocks. As a businessman, he was awarded the ‘Retailer of the Year’ award in 1979 for home furnishings and interior design, prior to entering full time ministry. He is well traveled—thirty four countries, all fifty US states and nine Canadian provinces. With an established record of reaching out to the unchurched, Carson now focuses this concern as a global leadership strategist - developing emerging and executive Christian leaders around the world by sharpening their vision, shaping their values and sharing their ventures.

With his encouraging style, creative ideas, engaging humor and ministry experience, Carson is well fitted for his role. In a straightforward manner Carson shares both from success and failure in ministry, believing that leaders learn from both. He is a person with helpful insights, which assist leaders to understand afresh ministry to their generation.

Carson is married to Brenda and they minister together at Arrow Leadership. When not sailing, the Pue’s live in historic Murrayville, British Columbia just outside of Vancouver. They have three sons (Jason, Jeremy and Jonathan), and two daughters through marriage (Kristin and Shari). They are the proud grandparents of one grandson - Landon.
