The Division of Leadership Services continues to develop a team of spiritual leaders who have a trusted and proven track record and who share the “DNA” and values of Arrow Leadership. Below are a few of our key team members, though many others work alongside us from locations around North America

Team Leader: Darren DeGraaf

As the team leader for the Division of Leadership Services, Darren spends the majority of his time every day working with leaders: pastors, ministry leaders, mission leaders, Christian business leaders, and the organizations that they lead. Intentional listening, a personalized approach to leadership, a focus on transformational impact, and a commitment to partner in the creation of lasting solutions creates a refreshing and inspirational atmosphere.

Those who work with Darren discover him to be highly energetic, engaging, discerning, thoughtful and fun. Furthermore, he is a skilled coach, an experienced trainer, and able to provide transformational experiences within a variety of cultures and perspectives. He is passionate in his pursuit of Jesus, with a focus on the integration of faith into every aspect of life and creation. He also serves as the Program Facilitator and a mentor in the Arrow Leadership Program - Executive Stream, where he facilitates transformational learning experiences and mentors many of North America's top Christian executive leaders.

Dr. Mitch Whitman

“Dr. Mitch” is well known by the leaders in the Arrow Leadership Program as our staff expert in assessment and personal development. He is a specialist in the psychology of leadership, psychometric tools, personal assessment and development in the life of a leader, and issues surrounding the relationships and sexuality of Christian leaders. Dr. Mitch is a trusted resource on the Arrow Leadership team, and a much sought after advisor to leaders worldwide through the Arrow alumni network. After working personally with hundreds of North America's Christian leaders, Dr. Mitch may be the most experienced psychologist in the world in reference to Christian leadership. He is an acclaimed public speaker, gifted advisor, skilled coach and experienced clinician. He lives in Wanatchee, Washington with his very gifted wife and their two teenage daughters.

Dr. Mitch continues his own private practice, while working alongside Arrow primarily with our partner organizations and alumni. He is also available for one-on-one coaching sessions by phone, as a trainer or public speaker, or as one of our “Rapid Response” team members for leaders or organizations who find themselves or those they lead alongside in trouble.

Dr. Carson Pue

Carson is Arrow Leadership’s President and CEO. He has over 25 years of focused experience in leadership and leadership development and is one of North America's premier communicators and advisors in Christian leadership and mentoring. As a mentor to hundreds of leaders world-wide, he continues to be a trusted advisor and resource to organizations that are making a difference around the world. He continues to serve on the board of directors for a number of well known Christian ministries.

Carson is known for his warmth, courage, Irish charm, and his passionate love for Jesus. While Carson is primarily focused on his leadership responsibilities at Arrow, he is also a world-renowned communicator and author with a heart for the individual leader. He and his wife, Brenda, are often asked to speak to leaders about their unique perspectives on marriage, family and sexuality as it relates to Christian leaders.

Dr. Steve Brown

Steve serves as Arrow’s VP of Programming with a focus on the Arrow Leadership Program – Arrow’s flagship leadership development experience. He is one of the world’s foremost specialists in transformational Christian leadership development and is regularly consulted by individuals and organizations around the world regarding the effective creation and implementation of transferable, and lasting leadership development experiences.

Steve is known as a keen listener, a kind friend and a relentless follower of Jesus. His focus on the integrated health of a leader is refreshing and provides a uniquely wholistic perspective.

Brenda Pue

Brenda Pue is the founder of the Arrow Leadership Program in Canada. Her focus on leadership development since 1998 makes her one of North America’s most sought after women in Christian leadership. She is the recipient of the 2008 “Leading Women” award, and is known for her deep devotion to Christ, her ministry of prayer and her discerning spirit.

Brenda speaks with experience and perspective. She has walked alongside hundreds of men and women serving in Christian leadership, and has prayerfully guided many of them to new freedom in Christ and effectiveness in ministry.
