Leadership Services Offered by Arrow Leadership

March 7, 2008

Arrow Leadership is proud to welcome Rev. Darren DeGraaf to our senior leadership team as the new Director of Leadership Services. Darren is responsible for overseeing and developing the newly created Leadership Services Division at Arrow.

The Division of Leadership Services will strategically extend Arrow’s passion to sharpen and transform Christian leaders worldwide to be led more by Jesus, to lead more like Jesus and to lead more to Jesus. Focusing on ministry partners, churches, Christian not for profit organizations and the more than 1200 alumni leaders world-wide, the Leadership Services Division will provide coaching, consultancy, training, and organizational development.

we love the fact that he is both American and Canadian

Regarding DeGraaf’s appointment, Dr. Carson Pue, President of Arrow said, “We are so pleased that Darren has accepted this appointment. He is a significant addition to our team - and we love the fact that he is both American and Canadian, holding duel citizenship. Facing an uncertain economy, financial stress and increasingly tough scrutiny from congregations, donors, government and the public, churches and nonprofits need more effective leadership, greater accountability and stepped-up efforts to be effective and build “capacity.” Darren is going to leverage Arrow Leadership’s 17 years of experience to provide leadership services to do just that - helping churches, ministries, organizations and their leaders be led more by Jesus, lead more like Jesus and lead more to Jesus.”

"As an alumni of the Arrow Leadership Program, I can testify to the transformative impact of Arrow in the lives of spiritual leaders. Arrow is a phenomenal organization that extends kingdom influence through the sharpening and development of identified spiritual leaders who lead ministries and organizations world-wide. I am honored to be given the opportunity to serve alongside the exceptional staff at Arrow who daily impact a tremendous diversity of spiritual leaders world-wide” said DeGraaf.

Rev. DeGraaf comes to Arrow Leadership from the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec, where he is presently the Director of Leadership Development. DeGraaf holds a B.A. from McMaster University and an M.A.R. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is a well-known adjunct instructor at Tyndale University College, and Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto. Prior to his work at the BCOQ, he was an associate pastor at Brant Bible Church, which has now become Compass Point Bible Church. He is a native of Burlington, Ontario.

Darren has already engaged in a number of consultancies to help forward the cause of Christian leaders and their organizations. Call us if we might be of assistance to you. We love leaders, the church and the cause of Christ. Sometimes a friendly outside perspective can be just what is needed.
