Alumni Train Mentors
Arrow alumni gathered together in Vancouver on July 11, 2006 for what ended up being a very fun training event.
"The training of alumni in how we might multiply the ministry of mentoring through an effective and engaging three and half hour workshop."
The Mentoring Connection is a new training workshop from Arrow inviting people to explore their role in mentoring one another in the church. Dave and Rennie Garda assisted in the training of alumni in how we might multiply the ministry of mentoring through an effective and engaging three and half hour workshop.
In this workshop, you will explore models of mentoring and your role in this legacy ministry. Integrated into the training manual are 23 follow-through challenges to help you keep learning when the workshop is over.
I know God is going to send out multiple “ripples” from this experience.
The alumni came from locations across the continent - New York to California. Although they graduated from different classes, the safe environment of Arrow immediately bonded them together and ministry and laughter abounded among the deep discussions that took place between sessions.

Aklilu Mulat organized a unique cultural experience to launch our time together with an Ethiopian dinner in downtown Vancouver.
Mentor training will begin across the country in the fall through these qualified trainers. Arrow plans to hold another training event to certify more alumni before Christmas.
