The Arrow Volunteer Team (AVT) provides an opportunity to learn new skills and to develop existing ones. With different volunteering opportunities on offer, there's bound to be something to suit you. (See What do our volunteers do?) Working as part of our unpaid staff team you can use the experience to secure paid work so there's more to volunteering with us than you might think!

* If you are chosen to become an AVT member your training will be provided and support wil be available as you need it. We can train you in the skill areas if you have the talent and the time.

* All our volunteer roles will enable you to develop specific expertise. For example, you might improve your computer and organizational skills as an administrator, or learn how to deal with people as a 'first impressions' volunteer or develop research skills in Ministry Resources.

* You'll get the chance to develop your skills in a number of valuable areas, like communication and dealing with the public, as well as increasing your self-confidence through practical hands-on experience.

* There are opportunities for everyone and you never stop learning - all in a Christian environment!

* It’s also a chance to put the skills and experience you already have to good use by helping a ministry that helps other ministries through their leaders around the world.
* We need people of all ages and backgrounds and are always looking for people with computer skills, good telephone presence and also drivers for our residential weeks.

Meet new people - for many people, the best thing about volunteering for Arrow Leadership is getting to meet a wide range of people and make new friends. There is a team spirit at Arrow and we provide a supportive environment to make sure that you get the most out of your time with us.

Fit volunteering in with the rest of your life - some roles are more flexible than others. We’ll do our best to find a role for you that fits in with your interests, and we’ll be as flexible as possible in enabling you to volunteer at the times that suit you best. Many of our board, for example, fit their volunteering around full time jobs.

You won’t be out of pocket – Arrow Leadership will cover any costs you have to pay in undertaking the work - like paying mileage if you have to pick up a leader at the airport or run an errand.

Above all, it’s a chance to make a real difference in a Christian ministry. Arrow has grown 220% in our impact with leaders over the past four years. We need capable Christians to come alongside and serve on the team.
