Why ARROW?

Since 1991, the Arrow Leadership Program has been actively engaged in "leader" development - helping leaders to grow from the inside out through a journey of intentional leadership development. We take our name from Isaiah 49:2 where it reads, "He (God) shall make me as a polished arrow". Our passion is in the leader polishing business. We focus on personalized development, knowing that each leader requires unique polishing. We have learned how to spot 'giftedness' and how to individualize the development process for each man or woman.

Not just ANY leaders

Arrow believes that leaders who shape the Kingdom and the world cannot be mass-produced; they are sharpened and polished one by one into effective arrows that fulfill their God-given calling. Arrow’s passion and purpose is to identify proven Christian leaders who have a clear calling by God and to strategically and significantly invest in their lives. We are not looking for just any leaders. Arrow looks to pour into the lives of a select few who are Kingdom seekers, not empire builders; proven leaders with potential, not potential leaders; called, not interested; gifted, not average; authentic, not superficial; relevant, not cliché; teachable, not just knowledgeable.

Arrow exists to identify leaders who are at a point in their life where a strategic investment in them would result in a profound leveraged response for good. At this point, not investing in them could result in a loss of momentum even lethargy. By assisting leaders to cultivate the right mix of calling, character and competency, it has a lasting impact for the Kingdom. We want to develop leaders who are led more by Jesus, who lead more like Jesus, and who lead more to Jesus.

The Ripple Effect

Arrow’s goal is to expand each leader’s capacity for their calling. Based on the experience of over 1,400 Arrow alumni, the leaders we invest in will, on average, have a sphere of influence of 1,700 people each. That means for every class of 24 leaders Arrow invests in, they are impacting over 40,800 people. Because our "polishing" process also includes an emphasis on leading more to Jesus, Arrow alumni are using their leadership to see up to 11,000 people become Christians annually.
